On Monday, Ben Stokes donned his England blazer for a photo shoot. He will become England’s 81st Test captain this week as Joe Root attends the birth of his second child and the photo of Stokes in his navy blue jacket, three lions on the pocket, was arranged to mark the occasion. As he picked up the blazer, he found a handwritten note from Root on the hanger. The message was simple: Do it your way.
